ZERO SEQUENCE

Zero Sequence was formed in late 1998 based on mutual friendship and basically having a knack for rock music. We are heavily influenced by the 70's and the 80's rock music era ranging from Led Zeppelin to Guns N' Roses. We released a demo EP, entitled 'Personality Number 9' in 1999 covering our basic roots of Rock, Pop, Blues and instrumental pieces. We, however have not restricted ourselves to other range of influences and music to play a part in our music.

" We are growing as a band and our music is growing. We love to make something that we don't even dare to dream of yesterday and that really makes it all exciting."

So far, we have played quite a number of gigs. This includes 2 Weekend Trip ppearances at Youth Park and also a couple of gigs at pubs like Vibes and Borgarts. Perhaps the highlight of our lives as part of Zero Sequence would be winning the 2000 Youth Hub Band Competition, which was held at Youth Park.

In principle, we view music as an extension of the human expression. We do not harbor dreams of using music to heal the world of its ills and problems. Perhaps in subtle way, we would like people to be at least aware of what indeed is happening globally via lyrics but ultimately a human being should be more that capable of handling issues at stake on their own. What we can do is to ease and relax the minds of the seemingly hectic scheduled individuals today. Through music, it is hoped that people would be in a better state of mind to face the challenges of life.

In the near future, we hope to go back to the studio and work on an album as a follow up to 'Personality Number 9'. We are continuously seeking to improve ourselves, accepting ideas and constructive criticisms. Ironic as it seems, we do believe in the phrase: The more you learn, the more you realize you don’t know.
