Bio:
There isn't much to say about Vertical Rush's music, and
that's because it's so hard to be specific about what
exact genre of music they play. The closest genres that
you would probably recognize from the songs that they
play live are from the indie, punk, radio pop and rock.
Formed in 1998,
Vertical Rush has had the opportunity to share their
music to people in places like the NYC Youth Park, Esplanade,
Hard Rock Café and even in Malaysia and Philippines.
Their music has been often described to be a mesh and
tinge of bands like Jimmy Eat World, Goo Goo Dolls,
U2, Switchfoot and maybe even some Sum41.
What makes the very peculiar sound of
Vertical Rush is also the member's diverse taste in
music; pop, grunge, jazz, hardcore and alternative rock. The
sound of Vertical Rush works because of the compromise
and chemistry between each and every individual in the
band, and is also where the heart and soul of Vertical
Rush's music lies, right in the middle, and that's when
magic happens.
