Formed in March 2003, black-ductape started playing blink-182 covers at a young age of 13. Broke, Iskandar bought a cheap electric guitar and used his dad's bass amp to practice. Recruiting members wasn't easy as he wasn't popular. Here's the story, One day, Trisno broke his arm and his cast was written with names like "Mark Hoppus" and "Travis Barker"(members of blink-182). Iskandar saw it and asked him whether he would like to jam at his house after he recovered knowing that Trisno was a blink-182 fan. The natural musical bond between them made it easy to play songs together. Not long after that, they played more often together. They began searching for another member in their high school to complete the line-up. After a lot of auditioning, experimenting and performances in school, they were left with a guy named Noriman. Together, they began writing their own songs. Their first one was titled "She's The One" refering to Iskandar's long time crush. Its about what really happened and what he hoped would happen. Since then, they have written a lot of songs which anyone could relate to in their lives. Now, they are searching for a gig hoping that someone out there could give them a chance to perform.
